The time-lapse videos below illustrate the effect that the March 11 tsunami had on the bay and the water in our canal.
Normally, the water flows in and out with the tide and it takes about 12 hours to make a cycle. What you see in the videos
is a repeated 15-minute cycle of the Bay water sloshing back and forth like bathwater over a 2.5 hour period. Notice the
docks moving slightly up and down and the large ship swinging back and forth.
